EPISODE 9: HOW DOES OGILVY GET READY FOR MODERN MARKETING? (PART 3)
Ms. Dieu Anh: Will you extent standard the training to client?
Mr. Kent: We often over the years I've done many years of seperating to help clients understand new trends excetera whether it's training to a client really depends upon whether a client asked for expertise, many of our clients have their own forms of training. So we're not suggesting his training as much as we're providing services to clients which we are running seminars in fact we just ran a seminar this week in Singapore with a number of our clients in that market talking about a number of new areas of business. Because clients all like to understand what other businesses are doing.
I think we live in a world where and you can see when go online you don't have to have the agency tell you what your competitor is doing. You can go online and see and agency needs to be looking at that too though and explaining what's this? What is with the application? What to do next? What we should be thinking about? But clients are seeing a variety of things but they love to be in a seminar setting where they can get inside from other practitioners were doing it but work was not working. So we do a lot of these seminars. We will at some point not too long and I'll be doing some other type of seminar here Vietnam. They will announce in due course to help again and show our clients what is happening in different areas of the business. I don't know if I would call it training but I would certainly say it continued exposure to what we think are best practices business. That's important.
